Mort Shulman graduated from Albany Law School in 1957 and shortly thereafter opened an office in Averill Park. He built a practice for over fifty years in the general practice of law including but not limited to real estate work, estate work and town court matters. Mort was Sand Lake Town Justice for approximately 30 years, a member of the New York State Magistrate’s Association, and a former member of the New York State Trial Attorneys Association. He loved his community and was committed to providing excellent legal services to his clients. It was his desire for that legacy to continue, and he helped establish Shulman, Howard & McPherson LLP to foster that goal and ensure that his name and quality legal services would remain synonymous for years to come. Mort passed away in 2016. He is sorely missed, but his work and memory live on.
